How to join
There is a range of membership packages for students, younger members, individuals, and larger organisations. CIGRE membership is open to all individuals, companies and organisations across five categories:
Individual Member I (RM400 per year)
Individuals involved in the Industry and one-off entrance fee of RM150 applies. [Form]
Individual Member II (RM200 per year)
Individuals involved in the Industry, under 35 (discounted rate for 2 consecutive years) and one-off entrance fee of RM150 applies. [Form]
Individul Student Member (FREE)
Free membership is offered for full time tertiary students. For Malaysia, each registered Individual membership from institution of higher learning entitles 3 free student memberships. No entrance fee is required. [Form]
Collective Member I (RM3000 per year)
Public or private companies, including power system transmission and distribution utilities, scientific and technical organisations, research Institutes and administrative bodies. One-off entrance of RM750 is required. [Form]
Collective Member II (RM1500 per year)
Universities and other educational bodies only. One-off entrance fee of RM375 is required. [Form]
